Welcome to PathLife (“PathLife”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PathLife mobile application, website, and other related services (collectively, the “Service”).

1. Our Service

PathLife is a social platform designed as a private sanctuary for you to connect intimately with your closest circle. We provide chronological timelines, status updates, and communication functionalities to facilitate authentic interactions.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice, for system improvements, security, or legal compliance.

2. Eligibility and Your Commitments

To foster a safe and exclusive environment, you must agree to the following commitments:

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use PathLife.
  • Accurate Information: You must provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating an account.
  • Account Security: You are entirely responsible for any activity that occurs under your account and must keep your password secure. You may not sell, transfer, or license your account to another party.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use PathLife to:

  1. Upload, share, or promote content that is illegal, fraudulent, discriminatory, threatening, or constitutes hate speech and harassment.
  2. Upload sexually explicit content or child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any such violations will result in immediate permanent account deletion and reporting to the relevant authorities, in strict compliance with Google Play Developer Policies.
  3. Use bots, crawlers, scrapers, or other automated means to access the Service or extract other users’ data without our express written permission.
  4. Distribute viruses, malware, or other malicious code that could compromise the operation of PathLife or the devices of other users.
  5. Infringe upon or violate the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrights and trademarks.

4. Content Rights and Licenses

We do not claim ownership of the content (photos, text, statuses) you post on PathLife. You retain all rights to your content.

However, in order for us to provide the Service (such as displaying your timeline to your approved friends), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to use, distribute, modify, run, copy, and publicly display your content in connection with the operation of PathLife. This license ends when your content or your account is deleted from our systems.

5. Content Removal and Termination

We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to monitor, review, and remove any content or account that we believe violates these Terms, Google Play Developer Policies, or applicable laws.

  • We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you repeatedly infringe other people’s intellectual property rights or create legal risk for us.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT PATHLIFE WILL ALWAYS BE SAFE, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT IT WILL FUNCTION WITHOUT DISRUPTIONS OR DELAYS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PATHLIFE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOST PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR FINANCIAL LOSSES, OR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Service or for legal and regulatory reasons. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice (such as through an in-app notification or email) before the updated Terms become effective. Your continued use of PathLife following such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
